Johannesburg - The highly anticipated next iPhones - likely the 7S and 7S Plus - may feature a full glass back and wireless charging, if online leaks are to be believed.
Images of the next iPhone were first leaked by Apple tipster Sonny Dickson and later published by Apple rumours and news blog 9to5mac.
The next iPhone is said to feature the introduction of glass backs as opposed to aluminium ones, and will support inductive charging.
More speculation is that Apple will follow trends of smartphones released this year, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, with the inclusion of the wider edge-to-edge display, and higher screen to body ratio.
It is unclear at this stage what the next iPhone will be named, but with the release of the iPhone 7 last year it is highly likely the next device will be the “7S”, according to previous nomenclature.

It is also expected that phones will include Apple’s A11 processors for faster performance, and that storage in the base model will be bumped up to 64 GB.
In June this year, Apple made some interesting announcements at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2017, such as Siri having a male voice and being able to speak new languages.
The company also announced its ‘most powerful Mac ever’, the iMac Pro with 5K display, at the event.
Apple's Artificial Intelligence home assistant the Homepod was touted as the highlight of the event.
