Johannesburg - More leaked images of what the Samsung Galaxy S9 is supposed to look like have surfaced, as the device is set to launch on February 25.
This time the leaks were courtesy of tech reporter Evan Blass, who has built a reputation for accurately leaking images of some of the world's biggest smartphones on Twitter.
In a series of tweets, Blass showcased what the device is expected to look like at its launch as well as the full colour palette which includes Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray and Coral Blue.
Blass previous accurately tweeted what Samsung‘s S7, S7 Active, the controversial Note7, S8, S8 Active and Note8 looked like.
The leaked images come just a month after Chinese microblogging website Weibo posted leaked images of Samsung’s highly anticipated flagship smartphones the S9 and S9+.
Judging from the leaked images by Weibo and Blass, Samsung’s next flagship smartphone could follow the same design trend as the Galaxy S8 and S8+ with the inclusion of the infinity display and possibly a dual camera.
This will be the first time Samsung introduces a dual camera to its “S” smartphone series, with a dual camera previous featured in the Note series.

Samsung is expected to unveil the next Galaxy at the Mobile World Congress 2018, scheduled to take place in Barcelona from February 22 to 28.
The Samsung S8 and S8+ smartphone releases were dogged by delays after the Note7 became the most controversial phone of all time, with numerous explosions reported from around the world.
Samsung followed up the Note7 smartphone with the Note 8, launched late last year.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are expected to take on other flagship smartphones from top manufacturers to be released this year, as well as the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone X, launched recently.
