Cape Town - Motorists will be getting relief at the pumps as the price of all grades of petrol and diesel will be cheaper, the department of energy announced on Friday.
From Wednesday November 5, petrol 95 and 93 (ULP and LRP) is coming down by 45 cents a litre (c/l).
The price of diesel with 0.05% sulphur will drop by 61 c/l and diesel with 0.005% sulphur will decrease by 60 c/l.
Illuminating paraffin (SMNRP) will fall by 70 c/l and liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by 105.0 cents/kilogram.
The Automobile Association (AA) said on Wednesday that preliminary fuel price data showed a decrease of between 40-44 c/l in the price of petrol and 56 c/l for diesel.
Last month the energy department announced an increase in the price of 93 octane fuel and a drop for 95 octane fuel,
