Despite recently being hauled off in the first half on two separate occasions, Webber's fine form for Babina Noko has continued to garner interest from some of their DStv Premiership rivals.

According to reliable sources privy to player movements in the Premier Soccer League, it’s now emerged that both Cape Town City and Stellenbosch have asked questions about whether Sekhukhune would be willing to sell the young midfielder.

Both clubs are looking to strengthen their respective squads for next season after experiencing contrasting fortunes in the 2023/24 campaign.

For Stellies, they have punched above their weight for a large part of the campaign, which has seen them contest for second spot on the log, while Cape Town City by their high standards, have failed to flatter particularly in the second half of the campaign.

The Siya crew understands that both clubs have Webber on their wish list should they fail to secure their main targets.

Stellies have cast their eye on SuperSport United's Grant Margeman, while City have want-away Haashim Domingo on their list.

Both clubs are believed to have enquired, albeit behind the scenes as either party are yet to make an official approach to Sekhukhune for the player's services.
