Magesi FC have been promoted to the DStv Premiership after defeating Milford FC on Sunday afternoon.

Clinton Larsen's charges opened the scoring through Wonderboy Makhubu, who took his tally to nine league goals for the campaign.

The home side doubled their advantage five minutes after the halftime break courtesy of a strike from Edmore Chirambadare .

While Milford did pull a goal back soon after Chirambadare's strike, Larsen's men managed to restore their two goal advantage on 62 minutes as Makhubu completed his brace.

With University of Pretoria drawing 2-2 with Black Leopards at the same time, Magesi have clinched promotion with two matches to spare.

AmaTuks will now look to secure their spot in the play-offs in the final two games after missing out on automatic promotion for another season.
