Tuesday is a very important day in a very important year for the Eastern Province u/16 rugby players.

The national Grant Khomo Week, starting on June 17, will this year be played on the fields of Grey High in Gqeberha.

The home province will obviously want to perform at their very best on home soil and will be under pressure to do so.

The EP selectors will also be under pressure to make sure they select the best possible team to take on the rest of the country.

On Tuesday at the Marlow grounds in Cradock, the u/16 selectors get an important chance to judge the available talent.

Three u/16 trial matches will be played then.

In the first one at 12:30 it will be PE South against Albany, followed by Team Msileni against Team Carolus at 13:30.

The last match is between Team Smith and Team Van Schalkwyk. This match will start at 14:30.
