Founder and Chief Executive at Discovery Limited, Adrian Gore, will take the floor in the last webinar for the 2023 iteration of the Think Big webinar series, powered by PSG.
Now in its third year, the digital series has attracted thousands of attendees, taking its place as a leading digital platform for debate and dialogue on an array of burning issues that concern all South Africans. In discussion with award-winning journalist and Think Big host, Alishia Seckam, 2023 speakers have included the likes of the South African Revenue Service Commissioner, Edward Kieswetter on the future of taxation in South Africa, Chief Economist of the Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa (Agbiz), Wandile Sihlobo on stumbling blocks hindering agricultural success in SA, Former CEO of FNB and the current founder of investment firm Montegray Capital, Michael Jordaan, on the future of digital banking and telecoms in South Africa, and most recently, South African Reserve Bank Governor, Lesetja Kganyago.
Past webinars have covered issues in politics, gender equality, banking, technology, personal finance and innovation, as well as the complexities of the current geopolitical climate.
In the final webinar for this year, Founder and Chief Executive at Discovery Limited, Adrian Gore, will address the viability of the hotly debated NHI, which is intended to benefit all South Africans. Gore will discuss how the proposal will impact medical aids and their members, and what the future of healthcare and medical aids in South Africa looks like in light of this.
