Nineteen-year-old South African cricket sensation Dewald Brevis has the world at his feet.

Considered a once-in-generation talent like his mentor and Proteas legend, AB de Villiers, he announced himself to a worldwide audience at this year’s International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 Men’s World Cup by breaking the longstanding record for most runs scored at a single tournament.

Those 506 runs in just six innings were ample reason for the Mumbai Indians to purchase him for R6 million at the player auction for this year’s edition of the lucrative Indian Premier League T20 tournament.
