President Cyril Ramaphosa's energy crisis committee has proposed a limited list of solutions. Here are things that it could do immediately, writes Carol Paton. 

This week, the National Energy Crisis Committee (Necom) briefed political parties, business, and labour on the steps it takes to reduce load shedding. The committee comprises top government officials across several departments and is convened by Phindile Baleni, the director-general in the Presidency.
