Vodacom has appointed Sitho Mdlalose as its interim CFO, effective from 1 July. Mdlalose has been serving as the CFO responsible for Vodacom’s International Business since 2014. He is also currently the currently executive director of finance at Vodacom South Africa.
He has been with the group since 2007 when he joined Vodafone UK and has held various senior finance and audit positions in the group.
Mdlalose holds a BCompt and previously worked in auditing firms, Deloitte and EY before joining Vodafone in 2007. He has over 20 years experience in finance, management and consulting.
Mdlalose replaces Till Streichert who resigned as Vodacom CFO in November last year. Streichert will be leaving Vodacom on or around 30 June 2020.
Vodacom said the appointment of a permanent CFO is well advanced and it ewill make an announcement in this regard in due course.
