Johannesburg - The South African Institute of Professional Accountants has achieved a sought-after ISO (the International Organisation for
Standardisation) 9001:2008 status.
It is South Africa's first professional accountancy body to get the international nod for its quality management system.Saipa says this Quality Management System certification now puts it in the same league as many of the world's top service organisations.
Saipa's compliance manager, Angela Schultz, said: "Achieving this certification is in line with our company's values and strategic objectives, which place great emphasis on stakeholder satisfaction. It is proof that our company follows internationally recognised quality management principles.
Saipa has over 10 000 members who regularly attend its Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshops.
