South Africans more worried about unemployment than load shedding or crime

Unemployment has been identified as the issue that most worries South Africans. This is according to a recent Pan-African research survey by Afrobarometer, headed by the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation, which found that unemployment, crime and security, electricity, water supply and corruption are the issues that most South Africans worry about.

The Afrobarometer team used a sample of 1 600 adults interviewed in November and December.
