Cape Town – While the discount for the latest iPhone is attractive for Fin24 users, many are still convinced that pricing for the Apple device is off the scale.
Fin24 recently reported the Orange Store is offering the iPhone 6s for less than official distributors the iStore.
Pricing for the iPhone 6s on Orange starts at R11 695 for the 16GB version up to R13 495 for the 64GB device, whereas the iStore prices the iPhone at R11 799 for the 16GB 6s, and R13 599 for the 64GB version.
But for some, it’s too much.
“Really want a iPhone 6s 64 gig but still feel it's overpriced. Even on contract I have a problem with the pricing,” said Fin24 user Sean.
Marcellus agreed: “Price is a factor when buying an iPhone.”
Cell C has the lowest cost iPhone contract at R449 per month for an Epic 150 package.
“I will rather upgrade with my Vodacom contract to the iPhone 6 or 6 plus than purchase it cash, but at the moment I am very happy with my Sony Experia Z3,” said Fin24 user Pbmelville.
For Fin24 user Daleen, the iPhone is a must-have smartphone and she is more than willing to pay up.
“Yes, I am happy with my new iPhone 6s!????????”
