Johannesburg - Financial services provider, Nedbank has told Fin24 that issues plaguing its online banking platforms have been resolved.
Bank spokesperson Thulani Sibeko told Fin24 that a reported downtime of the online banking platform was due to an IT system glitch.
Have you experience issues with Nedbank’s online banking? Tell us.
“We experienced an IT system issue during overnight processing. While the technicians identified the problem, which has now been resolved, it resulted in intermittent disruptions during the day,” Sibeko told Fin24.
Scores of Nedbank users took to Twitter to lambast the online banking platform. Some Fin24 users reported that the service had been seeing regular downtime over the past two months.
Nedbank has since stated that its platform is back online.
“All services are now back to normal. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to our clients,” Sibeko told Fin24.
@RitualStores Apologies for the technical glitch, it is being investigated with high priority.
