Hlaudi Motsoeneng's top 10 quotes for 2016

Johannesburg - One of the most controversial figures in the South African spotlight this year was former SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng whose antics have grabbed headlines.

In the latest saga surrounding Motsoeneng, his lawyer said on Tuesday that the former SABC executive won’t be going to work on Tuesday.

This after the Western Cape High Court in Cape Town on Monday ruled that his recent appointment as Group Executive for Corporate Affairs was unlawful and irrational.

Motsoeneng, though, has had a roller coaster year with several other controversies such as his banning of violent protest footage and the implementation of a 90% local content policy.
