Cape Town - The internet is set to become slightly more accessible with the introductions of increased data for capped customers, MWEB announced on Tuesday.
The ISP said that it would increase the data allowance for capped customers at no additional cost.
"Our Capped ADSL customers will benefit hugely from the new data cap changes we are introducing. Not only will their daytime data caps be increased at no extra cost, they will also be given the same amount of extra data to be used at night," said MWEB Connect GM Carolyn Holgate.
The ISP said that capped customers would get a significant increase in their data while the cost for uncapped customers will be reduced.
MWEB disrupted the South African market with the introduction of uncapped internet access in 2011 and has been actively pushing for the reduction of costs to access high speed internet services.
The new offer kicks in on 1 September 2014.
