Johannesburg - Bigger is better when it comes to smartphones in 2016 as numerous manufacturers releasing phablet devices. One of these latest devices is LG’s new V20.
The V20 sets itself apart in many ways from designs of mobile devices from the South Korean phone maker, even when considering devices released by the company this year.

The V20 is able to offer a fresher take on a phablet smartphone with subtle accents in an even better device than many released by rivals this year.
Among smartphones in its class, the V20 features a display size the same as the Xiaomi Mi Max and the recently cancelled Samsung Note 7 at 5.7 inches. This means the V20 is smaller when compared to the Huawei Mate 9 but larger than the iPhone 7 Plus.
To power a bigger device with more features, the LG V20's battery is the smallest of Android phablets out there at 3200mAh. But it is still larger than the iPhone 7 Plus’ 2900mAh battery.

The device’s 16 and 8 megapixel dual-camera is able to capture high quality images with a shallow depth of field for photo subjects in sharp focus.
The 5 megapixel selfie camera on the V20 is able to capture decent quality images, especially in low-light conditions and is fairly responsive to the user’s touch when navigating the device.
The V20 is a device of convenience with the sleep, wake up and power off and on button comfortably positioned on the rear of the device. The fingerprint sensor is also embedded within it for even easier unlocking of the device.
Probably one of the most unique features of the device, setting it apart from other devices available on the market today, is its easy access menu positioned next to the facing camera.

The easy access window also has its own separate screen from the main display of the device that functions as an always on display for time and notifications in sleep mode.
The device also runs a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM.
The V20 is a special device with accents that provide for an enjoyable user experience – the device can be personified as the straight-A pupil, who didn’t play sport in school. It's also not screaming for attention but is able to outperform many devices available today.
