Cape Town - In the aftermath of a shocking Rugby World Cup defeat of SA by Japan, a Fin24 user says booze and drug makers are among the ones to benefit most from SA's RWC campaign.
He was responding to Overberg Asset Management's Kirk Swart's weekly SHARE WATCH, in which he predicts big brands will score big from RWC 2015.
Listing Adidas, Asics, Under Armour, Nike and Heineken as his 5 stocks to watch, Swart says many companies use RWC as an opportunity to reach an audience of millions.
Putting a more humorous spin on SHARE WATCH, Fin24 user Shane writes that he totally disagrees with Swart after the Bok humiliation.
"I say the 5 South African company stocks to benefit from this World Cup will be sellers of:
1. Anti-depression medicine
2. Anti-nausea medication
3. Strong alcohol
4. TV sets ( Replacing smashed ones) and
5. Funeral homes."
