Hong Kong stocks tumble in morning session

Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks sank more than 1% on Wednesday morning after the US ramped up its trade war with China by threatening to impose tariffs on a further $200bn of goods.

The Hang Seng Index fell 1.44% or 412.53 points, to 28 269.72.
