Hong Kong stocks head into break with gains

Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks ended the morning session with gains following a recent sell-off, with energy firms boosted by a surge in oil prices but traders on edge over China-US trade tensions.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.50%, or 141.84 points, to 28 498.10.
