Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks extended the previous day's losses into Friday as dealers tracked a sell-off across global markets fuelled by profit-taking.
The Hang Seng Index fell 146.98 points, to 23 581.09.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 12.05 points, to 3 217.98 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, climbed 2.16 points, at 1 999.88.
