Hong Kong shares head into break on a weak note

Hong Kong stocks ended on Wednesday morning in negative territory as a recent rally hit the brakes with investors fretting over a possible US-EU trade war.

The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.42% to 30 031.55 by the break.
