Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks ended on Monday with gains thanks to bargain-buying after swinging through the day, but investors remain on edge following another sharp drop on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.38%, or 94.41 points, to 24 812.04.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index shed 2.18%, or 56.75 points, to 2 542.10, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, sank 2.02%, or 26.04 points, to 1 264.58.
