Hong Kong - Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks ended the morning session lower on Thursday as another jump in Chinese factory gate prices was overshadowed by a plunge in energy firms after oil prices tanked.
The Hang Seng Index tumbled 233.16 points, to 23549.11.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 27.50 points, to 3 213.16 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 12.67 points, to 2 011.61.
