London - European stocks were little changed as declines in Spanish and Italian shares offset gains by UK exporters after that country’s elections resulted in a hung parliament.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index fell less than 0.2% to 388.56 as of 13:24. The FTSE 100 index, whose members make more of their revenue abroad and benefit from a weaker pound, climbed 0.5%.
Sterling dropped 0.3% versus the dollar on Friday as election results came in, in its third day of declines.
