European stock markets stable at open

London - Europe's major stock markets steadied at the start of trade on Monday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index flat at 7 724.93 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 grew 0.1% to 13 009.83 points, while the Paris CAC 40 nudged almost 0.1% lower to 5 541.94, compared with the closing levels on Friday.
