London - Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Monday following a strong start to the week for Asian indices.
London's FTSE 100 benchmark index climbed 0.8% to 5 995.5 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index jumped 1.0% to 9 481.4 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.9% to 4 260.6 compared with Friday's close.
