European stock markets climb at open

London - Europe's main stock markets advanced at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.2% to 6 712.05 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.3% to 10 777.42 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.3% to 4 766.73 compared with closing values on Tuesday.
