European equities slip at open

Europe's main stock markets dipped Friday at the open, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.2% at 7 406.16 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 also shed 0.2% to 12 224.77 points, and the Paris CAC 40 nudged almost 0.1% lower to 5 407.58, compared with Thursday's closing levels.
