Johannesburg - South Africa's two main stock indices booked record closes on Monday, lifted by a surge in gold producers such as Gold Fields on a higher bullion price.
The benchmark Top 40 - (Tradeable) [JSE:J200] index finished up 2% at 38 072.48 while the broader All Share [JSE:J203] index rose 1.8% to 42 497.30.
