Cape Town - In this week's episode of #EntrepreneurCorner, we talk about upscaling your business.
Mishinga Seyuba Kombo of the Pick n Pay Enterprise Development Academy says it’s important to make sure that you have the right capacity and the right people before you decide to upscale your business.
She says upscaling a business is more than just expanding, but speaks of a proven concept about the product or service you provide. The customer should be at the heart of this, says Kombo.
Another key factor when you're upscaling is to know what your customers want. "The customer-centric question is: how do you continuously know what your customers want?
"It's ensuring that you give what the customers need, but also ensuring that you're on point with trends in your particular sector. It’s being at the pulse of what the customer is thinking, feeling and breathing," Kombo says.
