Cape Town – In this week’s episode of #EntrepreneurCorner, we discuss the concept of work-life balance.
Fin24 resident coach Anton Ressel says that, as an entrepreneur, your life tends to get a bit out of balance as "you are a one-man band" running everything yourself.
"I think there's always an imbalance in one's life as an entrepreneur and that's okay, but when things become too far slanted to one or the other side then it becomes a problem," Ressel warned.
He suggests listening to your body and having a strong sense of self. This will help you to know when you are going overboard.
In his role as a coach, Ressel says he strongly encourages business owners to take time off. This, he says, lets them discern if they are going off track.
