Cape Town - Cap40, a social network, knowledge and resources exchange platform that aims at helping people to do business in the Western Cape and also help South Africans who want to work in France, recently announced its 2017 award winners at its annual year-end gala event in Cape Town.
Cap40 was created in 2012 by five major French/South African companies. It organises about 20 events each year.
Via the Cap40 website businesses can learn about French, South African and international entrepreneurs of Cape Town.
Cap40 was, for instance, the main founder of the French Tech Labs in Cape Town, wich aims to build a bridge between the French and South African tech eco-system.
This year's award winners are:
Trade and Investment Award: Advini;
Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Thomas Pays (CEO of iPay);
Social Impact Award: Igalelo (INCO);
Cap40 Contributor of the Year: Julien Vespieren - Founder at Work & Co;
Best Cap40 Speaker of the Year Award: Bernard Sacks (senior tax consulting partner at Mazars);
Taste of France Award: We All Share Roots (Elise Sormani).
