London - UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond had rare good news to announce in his Budget on Wednesday.
Stronger-than-anticipated tax receipts mean government borrowing is predicted to be lower over the next five years than forecast in November.
It’s the first time since early 2014 that the Office for Budget Responsibility has upgraded its medium-term fiscal outlook.
