Johannesburg - Growth in private sector credit demand in South Africa slowed to 6.6% year-on-year in May from 7.06% in April, the South African Reserve Bank data showed on Thursday.
Expansion in the broadly defined M3 measure of money supply was at 7.79% year-on-year in May, down from a revised 9.02% in April.
