Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma has arrived in Brisbane, Australia, to attend the G20 leaders summit, the presidency said on Wednesday.
"The key focus of the summit will be on how the G20, both collectively and individually, can take additional measures to significantly raise global growth by implementing policies aimed at lifting GDP by more than 2% over the next five years," spokesperson Mac Maharaj said in a statement.
"South Africa has set a national growth target of 5% by 2019 and various measures and interventions are being undertaken to accelerate the inclusive economic growth..."

Zuma, along with other leaders, would on Friday engage with business from G20 countries in the annual B20 forum.
The president would also attend a meeting on the sidelines of the summit with leaders of the Brazil-Russia-India-South Africa (Brics) alliance on Saturday, Maharaj said.
The meeting would look at progress made in implementing the 2014 Fortaleza Declaration, particularly the establishment of the New Development Bank and its African Regional Centre which would be located in South Africa.

Also on Saturday, Zuma would participate in the G20 discussion on the global economy and attend the G20 working dinner.
Maharaj said other sessions that the president would attend were on delivering global economic resilience and energy and the working lunch on future challenges.
Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene and International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane were accompanying Zuma.
