Lusaka - Zambia's inflation accelerated to 6.9% year-on-year in November from 6.8% in October, the Central Statistical Office said on Thursday.
"The increase in annual inflation is attributed mainly to increases in prices of some food items," it said in a statement.
Africa's biggest copper producer recorded a trade surplus of 310.6 billion kwacha ($59m) in October, down from a revised surplus of 478.1 billion in September, the CSO said.
