Johannesburg - The National Education, Health, and Allied Workers' Union (Nehawu) in Limpopo welcomed newly appointed premier Stanley Mathabatha's reshuffle of his executive council on Friday.
"The people of our province have been previously subjected to some shameful leadership that left the government apparatus wretched and broke," Nehawu said in a statement.
"We offer the newly appointed MECs our unqualified support in their quest to better the lives of the people of the province through improved service delivery."
Mthabatha succeeded Cassel Mathale, who resigned on Monday after being "recalled" by the African National Congress.
He announced a reshuffle earlier in the day.
It saw an overhaul of the provincial executive with only two MECs from Mathale's administration staying on, though they were moved to different portfolios.
