Cape Town - The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) on Tuesday welcomed the resignation of the former Eskom board chairperson Zola Tsotsi, and said it hoped the move will bring stability at Eskom.
"It (Tsotsi's resignation) has been long overdue," said NUM general secretary Frans Baleni.
Baleni said "the sooner we get stability in so far as the executive are concerned the better" so that the overseer - the Eskom board - "can focus on overseeing".
