Cape Town - President Jacob Zuma backed his plan to set up an inquiry to investigate “rot” at Eskom, claimed Eskom chairperson Zola Tsotsi, according to a report in the Mail&Guardian on Friday.
“The president was very clear that if I think it is the right thing to do, then I must do it,” said Tsotsi.
The newspaper's Centre for Investigative Journalism (amaBhungane) said in an interview Tsotsi defended his call for an inquiry into what he described as "rot" in Eskom procurement.
