International Monetary Fund head Christine Lagarde paid a short visit to President Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria on Wednesday, ahead of her meeting with SA Reserve Bank governor Lesetja Kganyago.
Lagarde is in South Africa as part of her annual tour of African countries.
She will be holding a joint media briefing with Kganyago at 16:00 that is expected to focus on recent economic developments in South Africa.
