Johannesburg - South Africa's net gold and foreign exchange reserves fell to $42.946bn in November from $43.085bn in October, data from the SA Reserve Bank (Sarb) showed on Friday.
Gross reserves were also lower at $48.54bn from $48.678bn, while the forward position, which represents the central bank's unsettled or swap transactions, eased to $2.894bn from $2.913bn.
