SA, Canada sign mining agreement

Johannesburg - South Africa has signed a memorandum of understanding with Canada on co-operation in mining and mineral development, the mineral resources department said on Tuesday.

Mineral Resources Minister Ngoako Ramatlhodi signed the agreement with Canada's Minister of International Trade, Ed Fast.

The MoU was concluded on the sidelines of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference in Toronto.
