Johannesburg - Net gold and foreign exchange reserves ticked slightly higher to $41.59bn in June from $41.519bn in May, data from the South African Reserve Bank showed on Tuesday.
Gross reserves also edged up to $46.829bn from $46.446bn previously while the forward position, which represents the Reserve Bank's unsettled or swap transactions, eased to $2.298bn from $2.671bn.
