Johannesburg - Minister in the Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, Collins Chabane, will host a panel discussion with industry experts on Friday.
Among the areas to be discussed are economic growth and transformation, employment, poverty and inequality, household and community assets, health, education, social cohesion, safety and security, international relations and good governance.
The purpose of the talks is to stimulate debate in the public discourse. The government also wants to get expert opinion and input from a target audience on what is working.
Among the experts that will take part are Godwin Khosa, the CEO of JET education Services, Dr Khangelani Zuma, the executive director of the Human Sciences Research Council and the CEO of the SA Banking Risk Information Centre, Kalyani Pillay.
