Eskom is struggling to service R420bn in debt, with the Department of Public Enterprises warning that at its current trajectory, the entity may not survive beyond April 2019. And following President Cyril Ramaphosa's announcement that the power utility would undergo restructuring, load shedding has been re-instituted.
