FULL JUDGMENT: Molefe ordered to pay back pension millions

Cape Town - Former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe has on Thursday been ordered by the North Gauteng High Court to pay back millions of the controversial pension fund paid out to him.

The decision comes after trade union Solidarity approached the high court on November 29 2017 to declare Molefe's controversial pension payout of about R30m unlawful.

Molefe briefly returned as CEO of Eskom after the scandal around his pension emerged, but was removed again two weeks later when Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown ordered the board to reverse his reinstatement.
