The power utility in a tweet announced that there is no load shedding planned for Wednesday.
In a power update on Tuesday evening the company said ''the system remains constrained with unplanned outages or breakdowns at 12 974 MW as at 18:00 this evening.
It therefore urges customers to use electricity sparingly as it will ''help the load on the system and thereby reduce the risk of load shedding.''
Eskom has said that all emergency generators remain at good levels to supplement capacity tomorrow.
''We are monitoring the system closely and we will continue to give periodic updates on the status of the power system as things may change at short notice," it said in a statement.
