Cape Town - The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town has announced its newest residential development, situated on Portswood Ridge.
Ports Edge makes it possible to rent studio apartments within the V&A Waterfront for the first time.
According to David Green, CEO of the V&A Waterfront this development caters to a younger professional market not yet committed to buying property.
"We want to attract long-lease tenants with a desire to live in the V&A Waterfront all year round,” he said.
The apartments overlook the V&A’s New Basin, with Table Mountain as a backdrop.
Portswood Ridge will comprise 109 units varying in size from 30m² to 100m², and ranging from studio layout to apartments with one bedroom and one bathroom and two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The Ports Edge apartments will be released in three phases. The first phase launch will take place in March 2014 for occupation in June 2014.
