Lily Mine

Sunday marks one year since the collapse at Lily Mine near Barbeton in Mpumalanga.

Three mine workers are still trapped underground in a container than fell into one of the sinkholes.

Rescue operations have been halted for months because the ground is unstable.

The family members of Pretty Nkambule, Yvonne Mnisi and Solomon Nyirenda are pleading with government for something to be done.

A remembrance service which was due to be held at the mine was cancelled because of a planned "blockade".
